Context

L’Atelier Palmier is a thriving Antwerp-based jewelry house. Its pieces are handcrafted, carefully designed, and built to last.
The brand was undergoing a complete identity redesign when it approached Otomoro, with ambitions that had already outgrown its existing digital presence. The WordPress shop it was operating on was functional, but belonged to an earlier chapter. The next step needed to reflect the direction in which Atelier Palmier was heading.

Process

The project began with a clear design direction: premium, minimal, and entirely centered around the jewelry pieces.
Every layout decision was made in service of the jewelry itself, how to present a piece, how to guide a visitor from discovery to purchase.
A fully custom Shopify theme was chosen. Custom development allowed the design to follow the brief without compromise and gave the Atelier Palmier team the flexibility to manage and evolve their content independently over time.
The Shopify ecosystem also offered something WordPress couldn’t: a true unification of the physical and digital retail experience. Stock, customer data, and sales can now be managed from a single platform, eliminating the operational burden that had accumulated between the two channels.

Result

The conversion rate increased by 35% after launch, a direct measure of the improved user experience.
Beyond this figure, operational gains are significant: processes that previously required manual management across two disconnected systems are now unified, saving time and reducing the margin for error.
For a growing jewelry house, the platform now supports its ambitions. What was built is not just a shop, but the digital infrastructure Atelier Palmier needed to operate at the level it aspires to reach.
